In addition to being a supplier of the Southwest Wind Skystream 3.7 and the Off-grid Whisper wind turbines, the Solar Store is a distributor for Bergey and Jacobs wind turbines. We are a certified wind installer. These wind turbines are capable of supplying a part or all of your electricity needs. Outputs range from 100 kwhrs to over 3000 kwhrs per month depending on the model selected and the average local wind speed. Nevada Energy is currently offering $2.50 per turbine watt for wind turbine sizes under 10 kw and $1.50 per watt above that. In exchange for your energy credits, you may receive up to $25,000 for a 10kw Bergey and up to $40,000 for a 20kw Jacobs. In addition to these rebates you can also receive a federal tax credit of 30% of the entire wind installation.
